ORANGE APEX ESPORTS
Our new for 2022 eSports team was the brain child of Team Principal Reno Demarco and eSports Team Leader Ben Long. Starting off in the Simply Race Endurance series doing one off events, the eSports team have raced in the SR British Championships and planning on entering the Brand new SR Sprint Series in 2024.
STANLEY DONALDSON
Previously in the kart team, Stanley won the 2021 Stretton Honda Cadet championship in his debut year. Before that, he had won the BIKC local finals in Leicester in 2020 and got to the BIKC Regional Finals that year. He also finished 4th overall in his first year in karting in the TRCK Cadet Championship in 2019. Since moving into the eSports team, Stanley has competed in the SRES series 2023 and the SRBC Porsche cup 23/24. Currently, Donaldson is running in the PASR Mazda MX-5 Cup.
BEN LONG
Ben is our Team Leader for the eSports team. Ben has worked in motorsport previously as a mechanic and gearbox engineer. Ben first introduced the Team Principal to eSports and has participated in multiple online races, and raced the SRBC over the course of the last 9 years. Ben last competed in the SR Porsche Cup 23/24.
ADAM CLARK
Adam has been with OAR eSports from the beginning. With an eye for set up and precision, Adam is a great endurance driver who can find his rhythm quickly and produce some mega stints! Adam last raced in SRES in the WEC Hypercar.
STEVE GURNEY
Steve is a great driver who loves to take on a challange. Racing with us in SRES and SRBC Porsche Cup, Steve finds his feet well and has great pace when dialed in!
MICHAEL STOPP
One of the original drivers to the team, Michael is a fast individual who has good stint work in the SRES. Last raced in 2022 for the team, we hope to see Stopp back in action in this years SR Sprint Series.
NEIL HARRIS
Our newest recruit to the eSports team, Neil is an ex motocross endurance rider. With his motorsport background, Neil likes the endurance races over sprints, but is quick and can turn his hand to almost anything thrown at him! He represented us in the SR Porsche Cup 23/24.
